Located in Houston, TX, USA, the division HQ is coordinating the local efforts for a large numbers of regional offices over five continents. For their successful and well established office in Atyrau, Kazakhstan our client is currently looking to fill an experienced and career minded Finance Manager.
Job Description
The successful candidate will report globally to the Regional Financial Controller for Europe and Africa, locally to the Country Manager in Atyrau, Kazakhstan and by proxy to Corporate Finance Control in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Oversee the monthly closing and reporting cycle ensuring deadlines are met
- Manage tax compliance and audit functions across regional rep/branch office operations
- Perform continuous review and development of processes across the region to improve both reporting and cost efficiencies
- Manage and control the preparation of operational and cash budgets and re-forecast
- Supervise, motivate, coach and conduct performance reviews for staff
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Cash collection and debtor control
- Tender review and contracts management
- Regional insurance and claims management
- Special projects as directed by the CFO and CFC

Candidate Profile
- Finance and Accounting degree, preferably CPA
- 5-10 years of relevant experience
- A strong commercial background
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations (national and international)
- International experience in international tax management
- Experience in working autonomously and managing a team located in different countries
- Outstanding leadership skills
- Exceptional technical capabilities (focus on international taxation)
- Change management experience
- Previous experience developing, implementing and improving internal control systems
- Knowledge of Exact and experienced in making reports from this system
- CPA qualified or equivalent
Recently fulfilled
