Job Description

The Global Account Manager is responsible for one of the company's major world wide clients (ExxonMobil). Accountable for leading and managing global sales efforts to develop and expand incremental revenue and market share, and achieve profitable volume growth consistent with budget requirements(2009: revenue increase from $ 60 million to $ 90 Million). Develops and implements sales plans that support increased sales. Provides leadership and direction to the global account staff locally in Houston, and in the worldwide local company offices to identify new global business opportunities. Provides leadership to and stimulates operational excellence within the local and international recruitment/service delivery organization. Establishes proactively strong professional relationships and credibility with key HR/recruitment and Business executives in the Global account (ExxonMobil). Acts as a business partner to Customer's HR management team. Maintains high-level of customer's loyalty and builds trust and integrity. Leverages existing engagements to spawn new business with opportunities that result in on-going profitable revenue growth. Actively engages the company's Executive Sponsor (CEO USA) and other senior executives to build strategic relationships with the customer, ensuring long-term business opportunities. Coordinates all activities in the account, sales activity, marketing programs, executive forums, and delivery of ongoing projects. Develops a communication plan, and employs effective processes for keeping direct and virtual team members updated.

Each operating unit is able to provide the required specialist and to respond to the changing demands of each local market. The Division's Houston office is its Flagship.

For the Houston office YER is recruiting a Global Account Manager.

Salary and benefits:

  • Base salary; $130K - $ 150K
  • On Target bonus: $ 50K

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Master of Business Administration (MBA) desired
  • 10-12 years of demonstrated sales success and knowledge of strategic sales concepts, methods and techniques
  • At least five years international/global key account management experience
  • Excellent knowledge of energy market preferably with a high level network within ExxonMobil
  • Knows the strengths and weaknesses of key competitors within the account
  • Strong understanding of BPO concepts and Recruitment/workforce planning
  • Cognizant of domestic and international regulatory/visa compliance laws and regulations related to workforce planning
  • Excellent networking skills at all organizational levels
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to persuade, influence, negotiate and make formal presentations at senior executive client level
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong strategist and out of the box thinker
  • P&L and risk management skills and experience required
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
