We are currently seeking a Senior Business Development Executive for our client's location in Atlanta, Georgia.
Job Description
The Senior Business Development Executive is responsible for the sale of large automated logistics systems for warehouses and Distribution Centers, accountable for the development of nationwide sales efforts in order to expand incremental revenue and market share, and achieve profitable volume growth consistent with budget requirements. Develops and implements sales/account plans that support increased sales. Provides leadership and direction to support staff locally in Atlanta and stimulates operational excellence within strong professional relationships with influentials and clients within the Distribution Center/warehouses community. Leverage these strategic relationships to spawn new bid and contract opportunities. Coordinates all related bid activities and secures the project by closing the deal.
The ideal candidate must be experienced in key account management within the automated material handling industry within distribution and/or parcel and postal.

- Base salary: $100,000 - $110,000
- On target bonus at 30-100%/uncapped potential

Candidate Profile
- BSME, BSEE, or Technical Degree or Master’s
- 10-12 years of demonstrated sales success and knowledge of strategic sales concepts, methods, and techniques
- Large capital equipment systems sales experience (material handling system projects) with large bid & proposal management. (and the proven ability to close the deal)
- Excellent knowledge of the automated material handling market preferably with a large network in the distribution/warehousing community
- The ability to understand the technical aspects of automated material handling systems/conveyor systems is a must
- Entrepreneurial spirit and people manager who feels comfortable in different cultures and different environments. (well traveled is a huge plus)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to persuade, influence, negotiate, and make formal presentations at senior executive client level
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong strategist and out of box thinker
- P&L and risk management skills and experience required
- Ability to travel 50-70%
