Our client is a young and dynamic international company manufacturer of modular systems for the exhibition and event industry. To answer a strong U.S. market growth, they are currently looking for an Account Manager dedicated to the Northeastern region of the U.S.

Job description

This position requires a hands-on and self-motivated individual in order to carry all responsibilities of sales and account development activities in the territory. Our client's modular system solutions are known and admired, but lack widespread penetration in the market at present. Therefore excellent development and closing skills, combined with a 'consultative sales approach' are key requisites for success in this role.
The Account Manager reports directly to the Senior Account Director, based in their U.S. headquarters in Atlanta. The Account Manager will build strong relationships at multiple levels within all of customers and will be able to discuss business, investment and efficiency with business owners, talk excitedly about the unlimited possibilities of the system with the creative teams, and highlight its solutions and simplicity with the operations teams.  


  • Identify all potential customers in the territory - list by priority
  • Identify the needs and provide solutions with our client's modular systems
  • Achieve or exceed set sales and profit targets
  • Secure new business and grow existing accounts while sales objectives are met or exceeded
  • Build customer/channel sales plan to deliver against sales targets
  • Build long lasting relationships with our client's customer and prospect based on clear and open communication at all levels of their organization
  • Consult with sales management and operations on the timely delivery of orders
  • Adhere to expenditure budgets related to territory sales activity at all levels

Candidate profile

  •  5-8 years of experience in a demanding sales environment - Fortune 1000 company
  • Technical degree (AD or Bachelor) or equivalent working experience
  • Strong technical understanding - reading of drawings, 3-dimensional thinking
  • Excellent communication, people management and presentation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously - although in great collaboration with HQ in Atlanta
  • Extensive background in selling, developing and managing a territory
  • Proven track record of sales achievement - exceeding sales goals and targets
  • Hardworking - hands-on - proactive - results driven - team player - open - dynamic - positive - accountable - highly self-motivated - trustworthy
  • Work in the U.S. eligibility required
