On behalf of our international client, leader in Pharmaceuticals, YER is currently seeking an experienced Project Management Officer for a 9-month contract to support its office in St. Louis.

Job description

The Project Management Officer is a 9-month contract position and will support the implementation of the target operating model (TOM) in North America and South America. Following the acquisition of the Contrast Media and Delivery Systems (CMDS) activity, the company is modeling a new organization with the TOM. This position reports directly to HQ corporate finance management and will interface with HQ Corporate Finance functions, Corporate Project Management, Local Management, North America and LATAM (Finance Shared Service Center), Subject Matter Experts. Frequent travels might be required for this position. Key responsabilities will include:

  • Overall planning for NAM & LATAM TOM Finance, in coordination with TOM for other functions.
  • Workshops organization, gaps analysis (vs TOM core-design), identification of issues and opportunities, documentation of findings, action plan (for SSC St. Louis and countries alignment on the TOM, or TOM adaptation to local specifics if required).
  • Communication and escalation (in line with the TOM project governance).
  • Implementation: action plan follow-up and deadlines tracking, detailed planning for activities transfer (resources identification, knowledge transfer, handover, stabilization). 
  • Follow-up on gaps for the activities already transferred.
  • Quality control over taxonomy-based desktop procedures in NAM & LATAM.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Candidate profile

  • 10+ years of experience in the corporate function and consulting.
  • Experience (as Manager or Consultant / Project Manager) in finance & accounting Shared Services Centers.
  • Experience (as Manager or Consultant / Project Manager) in finance & accounting processes, as well as in Project Management Office: organization, tools (Excel, etc…), workshops moderation, gaps analysis, documentation, communication, deadlines tracking.
  • Able to perform PMO activities autonomously while paying attention to the appropriate level of communication, involvement and buy-in across the stakeholders.
  • Organization model roll-out skills. Understanding for change management. Emotional intelligence.
  • Exposure to International culture (European and North American), knowledge of South American countries is a plus.
  • Experience in cultural and organizational alignment is a plus.
  • Excellent writing, communication, active listening and presentation skills.
  • Spanish is a plus.
  • Knowledge in ERP-driven processes (ideally JDE, SAP) preferred.
