On behalf of our client, Alo Tennessee, a world leading company specializing in the agricultural machinery industry, we are seeking a Supply Chain Manager.

A new opportunity for a driven person ready to take on a new challenge for a world leading company specializing in the agricultural machinery industry. This newly created role is key to the success of the company, and will report directly to the President.

A successful candidate will have a solid foundation in Supply Chain Management and understand the importance of building strong professional relationships with both internal and external customers. Ålö is a truly global organization, and as the supply chain manager, you will work closely to the global supply chain organization. This role requires some International travel.

Main functions & responsibilities include:

  • Lead and develop the Supply Chain organization and processes in North America
  • Establish and maintain excellent cooperation with the sales organization and customers
  • Develop and maintain good cooperation with distribution providers
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement

Candidate profile

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree - major in supply chain/logistics management preferred
  • MRP experience (Movex, SAP, a plus)
  • Ability to apply lean manufacturing principles
  • Strong supply chain understanding with previous experience from international trade
  • Complete understanding of production planning and materials focus experience
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in supervising/managing supply base.  Knowledgeable of support functions, including systems and logistics
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Ability to work in a high pace environment and remain flexible with changing conditions
