On behalf of our client, Cimbali USA, leading global espresso machine manufacturer, YER is seeking a talented National Account Manager.

Job description

Cimbali Group has lead the market in technology and innovation, with a heritage defining quality in espresso machines since 1912.

The National Account Manager will be responsible for driving significant growth in the International Chain market segment. With a strong focus on building long-term trustworthy client relationships across the United States, you will join our team with proven success in the Food Service or Food Service Equipment industry.

The successful candidate will have strong B2B sales experience with a track record in opening new national accounts, offering excellence in client stewardship and business development. Ensuring the implementation of our international commercial strategy, you will be a direct contributor to our growth objectives.  

Reporting directly to the General Manager in the US, you will join a dynamic multi-cultural team. You be offered full immersion training at the head offices in Milan, Italy to embrace the art, craft, heritage and quality of coffee making that Cimbali represents.

  • Develop strong relationships of trust and long-term growth with a portfolio of major national customers
  • Successfully negotiate new key account commercial agreements
  • Ensure in-depth intelligence on key customer needs and requirements
  • Expand existing customer business through continuous solution-driven proposals
  • Guarantee targeted product offering to suit tailored customer needs
  • Key contact point for communication between key accounts and internal teams
  • Proactive problem solver
  • Tactful resolution of any complaints with the goal of maintaining long-term customer trust

The position can be either home-based preferably in the NY/CT region or at our Fairfield CT location.

  • Proven success in national key account management in the Food Service Equipment industry
  • Experienced solutions-driven consultative sales professional
  • Excellence in building long-term relationships with key customers with a drive for growth
  • Skilled at relationship development with executives at all organizational levels
  • Acute understanding of the importance of "quality time" with customers
  • Results driven
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving ability
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
  • Willingness and ability to travel at least 50% of the time
  • Existing relationships with National Chain accounts/Purchasing Teams a plus
  • Self-motivated with a strong work-ethic within a flexible working environment
