Cabinplant has had great success in the U.S. and sees great potential to further grow their business. YER USA, Inc. has been retained to assist Cabinplant in hiring a Field Service Technician to the U.S team.
As Field Service Technician, you will perform service and support, related spare parts sales and up-sell service/support agreements. You will also be involved in starting up new facilities in cooperation with the service coordinator, and the electrical engineering department based from the HQ in Denmark.
Approximately 50% travel, also over weekends and from time to time with extended stays in e.g. Mexico. The role operates from the US HQ in Atlanta - alternatively from a home office when not traveling.
Collaborates with the sale team, preparing offers, including follow-up, and dispatching of spare parts overall collaborating with the Service Coordinator and the Service Back Office.
Participate in the online customer support team, remote problem solving.

To be successful in this role, you must have a technical degree and relevant working experience allowing you to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment. PLC experience is a must and a background from dealing with both mechanical and electrical issues will be needed. Having worked in the food industry will also be a plus. You must be able to work independently with little supervision.
