Job description

As a PLC Programmer Control Engineer you will be joining a fast-growing dynamic team and will be responsible for the programming, commissioning, installation and servicing of customized Thermoforming lines for automotive interiors and Slitters and Rewinders machines for the paper, film and foil Converting industry.

Our client is looking for a dedicated professional with a collaborative team-spirit, highly self-motivated to service our clientele across the US, Canada and Mexico territory.

Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Programming of PLCs, HMIs, Drives (Rockwell or Siemens)
  • Installing and trouble-shooting machinery on customer site
  • Customize programs to customer requirements
  • Nurture excellence in customer service and long-term relationships

  • $60 000 annual compensation plus 1 ½ overtime pay.

Candidate profile

  • Min 3+ years of software programming, installation and servicing of automated machinery
  • Knowledge and implementation skills for PLCs, HMI and Drives
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and implement electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic drawings
  • Engineering experience and/or equivalent academic qualification
  • Proximity to Ferndale MI office location
  • Serious work-ethic balanced with team spirit
  • Travel +100 days/yr across US, Canada and Mexico as required
