On behalf of our client MTD, we are searching for a Business Development Manager “Industry”.

Job description

In this role you will generate and develop new business for the industry segment within the NAFTA region with a key focus on the USA and Canada, targeting among other projects in mining, disaster response, defense, temporary accommodation, remote camp locations, and on- & offshore oil & gas. The position is based in Atlanta, GA or out of home office in the U.S. or Canada, and you will report directly to the Industry Director in the Netherlands.
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter with strong sales acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset who enjoys working in a start-up environment. You will be working with an international and dynamic team in a challenging role with tremendous growth potential.


Responsibilities:

  • Generating and developing new business leads, opportunities and products/services
  • Identifying market needs and trends
  • Maintaining existing client relationships
  • Performing site visits and consulting clients/prospects
  • Working closely with Dutch headquarter (e.g. generating proposals, project management, etc.)
  • Profit & Loss responsibility (Return on Investment)
  • Updating and maintaining ERP system

Candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree required and Master's degree or relative experience in industry related field, business management or similar
  • Preferably 5+ years of experience in one of the market segments (mining, temporary accommodation, remote camp locations, disaster response, defense, on- & off-shore oil & gas markets)
  • Strong sales/business development background
  • High technical and analytical affinity
  • Willing to travel 50%, domestically and internationally
  • Spanish language skills are a plus, but not a must
