Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic-minded passionate business development professional with a hands-on attitude to help drive medical excellence through virtual reality simulation. The hospital market is the largest opportunity for the use of Mentice products where high fidelity simulation can serve as one key component to tackle the healthcare conundrum in US and in the world. The conflicting challenges of rapidly aging population, new innovative but expensive treatment solutions for patients up in very high ages coupled with a general perception that we already spend too much on healthcare requires change of practice, methods and use of innovative solutions such as Mentice.
Your main responsibilities are to:

  • Develop the US Hospitals West territory within the endovascular specialties including but not limited to: California, Colorado, Washington State and Oregon.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for basic education in the University Hospital and Teaching institute arena and-even more so-approach health systems and individual
  • hospitals with argumentations for continuous professional development for both practicing physicians, other staff and teams driving value and improvements.
  • Develop sustainable, long-term relationships and programs that help Mentice' clients drive success and ROI.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction together with the Mentice Global Customer Services organization with installation, training and after sales support
  • Prepare and participate in local and nationwide promotional events together with partners.

You will be working with the sales/marketing and support teams to find new clients and inspire existing customers. We will work together to create business plans that match the company's objectives to meet quarterly and annual sales targets. Via the company's CRM system, you will keep track of all customer records; write your own proposals and implementation plans. You need to be willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time. It is preferable that you will be based in California (home office) as this is the largest part of the territory. This role will report directly to the President and Chairman of Mentice.


Our client, Mentice, the world leader in medical vascular simulation is seeking to hire an ambitious and self-motivated Sales Manager for its US Hospital West territory, who desires to develop, grow and excel. Mentice provides high-end Simulation Solutions for training, education and assessment in a wide range of disciplines.

The company has a vast experience from the use and application of simulators in both industry training sector and hospital based clinical skills training.

Candidate profile

  • Bachelor Degree or Higher
  • Minimum 5 years' experience of documented successful solution sales.
  • Healthcare, Hospital, University/ Education sales experience is a plus as well as a history of calling on medical professionals and higher-level executives.
  • Ability to manage a high-end product in a complex sales environment with large multibillion dollar organizations as clients while paying attention to details.
  • Ability to create relevant value propositions and an inherent sense of urgency, driving a customer's decision are prerequisites for the job.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and ambitious with a desire to learn, grow, develop and excel.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in the English language is a must.
  • Additional European languages are a plus.
  • Experience in Sales Force is a plus
  • Must share Mentice' passion, mission and vision to help improve quality and outcome for clients and ultimately save people's lives.
